The International Leoš Janáček Competition in Brno (abbreviated MSLJ) is a competition named after the world-famous composer Leoš Janáček. The aim of the competition is to find young talented artists. MSLJ is intended for young performers up to 35 years of age. In five-year cycles, the disciplines of string quartet, violin, piano, organ, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, horn and tuba are regularly alternated.

  • 2022 – piano, organ
  • 2023 – cello, double bass
  • 2024 – flute, clarinet
  • 2025 – violin, string quartet
  • 2026 – French horn, tuba
