Audition to perform with the orchestra

Dear students, dear students,

The leadership of the Faculty of Music announces a call for auditions (“audition to perform with the orchestra”) for soloists for HF orchestral concerts in the academic year 2026-2027.

• The performance is intended for students of the Instrumental and Voice Departments who will continue to study at HF in the academic year 2026-2027.
• Students who have already succeeded in this selection play in previous years are not eligible to participate.
• The play will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the HF Auditorium.
• Selected students will perform as soloists at orchestral concerts of the JAO, MFO, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra Zlín and Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra.
• The casting of soloists for individual concerts will be decided by the audition committee.
• Applications should be submitted to the Head of the relevant Department no later than Wednesday 4 March 2026.
• The choice of repertoire is not specified, but please take into account the financial availability of orchestral materials.
• The exact timetable for the play will be announced no later than Monday 9 March 2026.
